Background info on your character:
Incredibly gifted and charming ever since he was a small kid, Hizumi lived a happy childhood, full of achievements and loved by pretty much everyone. An amazing child, he was considered an angel. Although certainly different from other children, he still lived a normal life, and it wasn't until he was ten that the truth was revealed to him.
A clone of Mizushiro Yaiba, Hizumi was created in order to play a certain role in his plan. To better understand that, we need to take a step back and explain exactly who Yaiba is, and what was it he was planning, exactly.
Much like Hizumi, Yaiba was an incredibly gifted individual: naturally charming, intelligent, talented in pretty much everything-- he had the power to attract people around himself and make them look up to him. Amazing in every way, he collected success after success, year after year, and gained quite a lot of followers.
He founded the organization "Knights", and in just three years, it gained an immense influence and power. A few years after, he set in motion the "Blade Children Plan".
The plan was quite simple: mass produce Yaiba's offspring with the help of artificial insemination and so on. It was passed as a genetic experiment to see if the children would inherit Yaiba's many talents. Because he was a man of success, there were a lot of people who were willing to have his kids, and finding egg donors was a relatively easy task. Although it was kind of a shady thing, because of the man's influence, the plan went smoothly and a total of eighty children were born.
As soon as the kids started to display their talents, and how their capabilities were vastly superior to those of normal ones, though, it was clear that something was up. Even if it was Yaiba's lineage, it was odd for every single one of those kids to display all of those abilities, and after some research and questioning, it came to light that Yaiba really was the devil, and he hated humans and was seeking to destroy them. The Blade Children, through his blood, would have inherited his will once they were old enough, and would have destroyed all humans.
Hizumi was pretty much the next step. Yaiba wanted more people like him to release into the world in order to destroy humans, and so, creating a clone with the same genome as him was important.
Unfortunately for him, things didn't go exactly as he expected. Although nobody up until then ever managed to kill him, despite many attempts, a man named Narumi Kiyotaka suddenly appeared, and just like that, he managed to do what nobody else could before: killing the devil.
Kiyotaka took control, so to speak, of the three factions (Savers, Hunters and Watchers-- each with a different idea on what to do with the Blade Children) that formed in order to either support or oppose Yaiba after his true intentions were revealed, and made a whole new plan to deal with Yaiba's offspring-- a plan in which his own little brother, Ayumu, would have a key role.
Although Kiyotaka knew full well that Hizumi was a clone, and not a simple little brother, he decided not to kill him, and instead he was given to a couple of Savers who had the task to take care of him and raise him.
Finally, once he was ten years old, the couple he lived with decided to tell Hizumi everything about his birth, about Yaiba and Kiyotaka. Despite the initial surprise, he didn't let the truth get the best of him, and instead, he decided he was going to change fate. Full of hope, he gave his all in order to find a way to save the Blade Children, as well as himself, so that nobody would end up becoming like Yaiba. At thirteen, he got into an university to study genetics in order to find a connection between genes and the curse Yaiba had left behind, and although he couldn't find anything, he knew he had many resources to eventually succeed.
Unfortunately, though, Hizumi didn't exactly have all the time he would have needed in order to complete his research. During his time in university, he came to realize that as a clone, his life-span was of roughly eighteen years. No matter what he did, he would not have enough time to save everyone: realistically speaking, he was probably going to die before being able to do anything at all.
The revelation crushed his hope completely, and so, he resigned to fate and decided to just die.
Fate wasn't exactly okay with that, either.
He attempted suicide numerous times, however, he survived every single time. Because he was "the devil's little brother", he could only be killed by his opposite-- "god's little brother", Ayumu, who was also a clone. That or, you know, wait to go boom because of the whole clone thing.
Waiting clearly would have taken way too long and anyway, it totally didn't coincide with Kiyotaka's plan, so, knowing that Ayumu was the same as him, he decided to meet him. While officially he was there waiting for him to kill him, in reality he had his own plans and all intentions of observing Ayumu, seeing whether he could defeat fate or not.
Although the time spent with Ayumu easily became the best he ever had in his life, his despair prevented him from simply trusting him and whether or not he could defeat fate. Sure that it was a genius plan, he decided to kill Kanone Hillbert to make sure Ayumu would actually be forced to do something, as he didn't seem to keen on the idea of killing Hizumi, putting him in a situation where either he would kill him, or he would forget all about the Blade Children and live the rest of his days with him.
As far as personality goes, Hizumi is a happy bunny. Sure, he can seem a bit pessimistic when he talks about being killed by Ayumu and dying, but he always presents that very matter-of-a-factly, and seem to be at peace with that. He appears to always be cheerful, he's social, and he likes to do whatever.
Despite the fact he's supposed to be "the devil", he's shown to be pretty innocent in general, and he definitely is a rather kind person-- for example, after asking Ayumu what kind of song he'd like to sing as "God" and receiving his answer, he states that he "shall sing a son of love to cure those who've lost to fate". He very clearly likes to help people, possibly because it's fun and interesting, and even goes as far as to help Ayumu get along with his classmates, clearing up misunderstandings and telling him to be more sociable.
In general, he appears to be very child-like-- full of enthusiasm and fired up easily, pouting and whining when things don't go his way. Sure, he can be a tad bit annoying at times especially because of his enthusiasm, but all in all, he's a lovable kind of guy who means well. Of course, he isn't above picking fights, but he's never exactly nasty.
