Nightmares.
Sauron's breath was heavy, and the fog of it clouded her face as she ran. She could hear it running behind her, growling and snapping. The woods were dense, and she ended up tripping several times. Each time, the beast came closer and closer. Her heart pounded and she gulped at the thick air trying to keep enough oxygen in her lungs to keep going.
The beast roared and reached out for her, snagging at her leg. She heard a rip, and felt a hot,searing pain shoot through her body. She twisted and fell, forced to face the beast. The world around her grew dark as a pair of hot, burning red eyes stared down at her. The creatures face reflected her own, only its skin was a pale grey-blue, and its hair was wild and white. The creature had claws, and tattered white demon wings. It floated above her, staring down. Its teeth were sharp as it growled at her.
"MY Will Is Stronger!" the creature growled in a purring dark voice as it bore its claws.
Sauron felt something in her chest break. She felt her skin crack as she began screaming in pain. The demon began to fade away as she felt herself begin to change into that monsterous thing before her. As her voice deepened into a roar, the world around her shattered...
...and Sauron sat straight up. She took a deep breath and looked around the room. The sheets were a bloody, torn mess, and she had scratches all over herself.
"Oh my god..." she breathed, "What the hell happened?"
