After many days and nights, after much effort, I am truly pleased to unveil the website for my new freelance business:
Plot to Punctuation, LLC Not only do I hope it will serve as a professional-looking and attractive portal by which writers (who, believe me, definitely need my services) can hire me, but also I'm quite proud of it as the first substantial website I've ever fully designed and built myself. It's built in Ruby on Rails, with all sorts of snazzy features such as automatic job estimates, project tracking for customers, a hand-rolled blogging infrastucture complete with RSS feed. The works! You can also follow me on twitter, as
p2p_editor, which will serve as an alternate blog update notification channel.
The blog section of this site is also where I will be writing regularly (I swear, really I do!) with articles, tips, and tricks for more effective character development in fiction, as well as the occasional side-track into what it's like to try to make a living as a freelance editor. (Hint: so far, I can't quit my day job.)
I would really appreciate if y'all could give it a quick look and tell me what you think. Check out the site, read the blog, subscribe to the RSS feed. Or, hey, hire me if you have anything that needs to be edited, ghost-written, et cetera...
