Special Issue #5: Erica Durance is coming to Twitter!
Welcome to this special issue of Clois News!
Looking back right now, I am a little shocked. I spent so much time just focusing on putting one foot in front of the other! It's been this nice steady job for the last three years, going into my fourth. And it started off as only four episodes. I'm all about living in the present, so I was just trying to do the best I could with what was in front of me. But you go to Comic-Con and everyone is so positive and excited. The energy around it is amazing, so no complaints here.

Erica Durance is coming to Twitter! For one night only Erica is going to be tweeting as part of CW's Tweet Week. She will be there this Friday, May 7th from 8pm - 9pm EST while Hostage is playing on the east coast.
To celebrate this event, promote Erica/Smallville and show our love for her we're holding an #EricaDurance Trending Event!
Trending begins at 7pm Eastern / 6pm Central (Countdown / Convert to your local time). Start tweeting as much as you can and be sure to add #EricaDurance to every tweet. We'll continue right until 9pm.
Focus the majority of your efforts between 7pm and 8pm. That way #EricaDurance can be trending even before she gets on Twitter! Once she's on, it'll be much easier to keep #EricaDurance in the Trending Topics because she'll be around to talk with. When Erica starts tweeting at 8pm you'll want to be able to ask her questions and interact! You'll still be able to help with continued trending by adding #EricaDurance to the tweets you send her!
How will tweeting with Erica work?
In order to send tweets that Erica will see guaranteed, you have to use the CW's Site or ITweeVee to send your tweets. Just @Reply to the username she's using (that hasn't been announced yet), type your question or comment and send it (and be sure to include #EricaDurance in the tweet to help with trending)! The site automatically adds Smallville to your tweet for you and adds it to the ongoing Smallville discussion feed! Erica will see the tweets and respond to the one's she can!
We don't know yet what account Erica will be using but it's most likely something like @CWEricaDurance.
If you can fit #EricaDurance into your tweets to Erica, we ask that you do so that we can continue trending #EricaDurance between 8pm and 9pm. And try to send some normal #EricaDurance tweets during this time as well! If you want to do that but not distract yourself while Erica's online, use FutureTweet or TwAitter to set up the tweets beforehand. :) You can also use two accounts, one to ask Erica questions with and one to tweet #EricaDurance tweets with.
I'm in! Is there anything else I can do to help besides tweet?
Yes, there is! SPREAD THE WORD! We need as many fans as possible participating. There is also some other stuff we could use help with, please e-mail us.
I can't be there to help trend! But I want to help!
The biggest thing you can do to help whether you can be there or not is SPREAD THE WORD! Both about Erica tweeting and our Trending Event! Tell all your friends on twitter and all your friends not on twitter! If they don't have a Twitter, encourage them to get one!
You can also help by setting up Future Tweets! These are tweets that you can schedule to be sent during the trending time. You can use sites like FutureTweet or TwAitter to do this.
