I feel so overwhelmed by the responses to this story! I don't know where to start... This was actually written in French first, six years ago, and I was thrilled that the mods let me submit a translation for the horror fest. It's very frustrating not feeling able to write new stuff in English when there are so many amazing prompts out there! and I'm very happy I could be part of such a great batch of stories and artworks! Yay to the darkarts community! :):):)
