I absolutely love the description of the harbour full of gemstones - "strewn heedlessly in the nearby pools and beneath the green waters of the harbour" ... what a lovely spot!! If I ever become independently wealthy, I will do that in the garden of my country estate! :) :)

Tolkien did have some pretty ideas! Though I fear it would only work for Elves -- they appear to have no form of economy whatsoever, and goodness knows where their food came from. Whereas your neighbours might be... unduly tempted. :'D

I must expect I was expecting Burlesque when I saw Celeborn renamed Teleporno, but then I saw that actually comes from Tolkien.

I'm sorry to disappoint you! :'D Yes, Teleporno has to be one of Tolkien's worst names ever -- it's lucky it only turns up in a couple of distinctly sketchy and normally ignored 'alternate' histories in the Unfinished Tales.
