Heath and Jake...yummmmmm
So I went to see Brokeback Mountain with my friend today in the theatres...although I could've saw it for free in the humbleness of my abode.
But alas, I support the film industry.
haha. no idea what I just meant....
anyways...
I liked it! It was a beautiful movie! And it was not a waste of my time (*cough*cough*...Jocelyn).
I must admit that I had tears in my eyes during parts of the movie - especially near the end.
And I believe that the sex scenes with Jake and Heath (ok their characters Ennis and Jack) were just fine. They were the right amount of time...I mean, there was just enough for those who just wanted to see this movie because of either a) Heath Ledger's in it, b) Jake Gyllenhaal is in it, c) Heath and Jake are in it, d) Heath and Jake are in it AND are gay lovers...
Well, there are some out there who went to see it for reasons e) the movie/storyline/plot seemed and looked quite intriguing: A love story between cowboys.
Now if this movie was just like any other romance movie - with two heterosexual people starring in it - yes it would've been not as big of a success.
The thing too that I really loved about the movie was the scenery - shot in Alberta! Whoott go Canada! ^_^
Heath and Jake, and I must say Michelle Williams did awesome jobs....
I'm off to sleep now. It's 2:30 am. Shopping tomorrow. 8 fucking o'clock in the fucking morning...
