2. People actaully visit your site more than just viewing the "friends" page like on lj; I think I haven't seen a lot of people's layouts on lj. It's especailly bad since when you comment, you get generic white instead of the actuallayout on lj, unlike xanga.
3. No one can read your subscriptions except you, unlike you can view your friend's friends pages on lj
