faecat gave me a meme where she picked actors and actresses and I go "omg that movie, that one's my favorite."
Answers:
For the ones I don’t have an answer for, I’ll pick an additional actor/actress and answer.
1. Johnny Depp: Easy! Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas!
2. Tim Curry: Clue! (Caveat: I have actually NOT seen It, but I don’t think it’d change my answer.)
3. Anthony Hopkins: LOVED him in The Remains of the Day
4. Oliver Platt: Hey, he shares my birthday! You know, I…have I seen anything with Oliver Platt in it? I mean, I’ve seen Benny and Joon, but I don’t recall his part that clearly. Recommendations? Substitute John Cusack, for whom my favorite is High Fidelity.
5. Kiefer Sutherland: I kinda want to go with the default of The Lost Boys, but it’s Dark City.
6. Patrick Swayze: Totally To Wong Foo: Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar
7. Leonardo DiCaprio: You know, I need to see more of his stuff, because I haven’t seen the ones I think I’d be more likely to choose for this (Aviator, Gangs of New York, The Beach, Catch Me if You Can). So I’ll have to go for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? I haven’t yet seen Inception, which I suspect would be my choice if I had.
8. Ben Stiller: Ok, THIS one is hard. But, ok, honestly? Zoolander. I loved The Royal Tenenbaums. I loved Keeping the Faith. I loved Meet the Parents. And on and on. But, yeah. Zoolander.
9. Edward Norton: Easiest one I’ve answered. Fight Club <3!
10. Gabriel Byrne: Tough choice between The Usual Suspects and Stigmata, but I’m going to go with the latter, actually.
Actresses:
1. Courtney Cox: Oh lord. Have I seen any movie with her in it? Scream is the only one I’ve seen, I think. Substitute with Uma Thurman, for whom I have a very difficult time choosing, but I’m going to go with Kill Bill. That’s a really, really tough choice, though.
2. Chloe Sevigny: Another tough one, especially since she’s been in a few Harmony Korine movies where she did an awesome job playing really awkward roles. And I thought she was awesome in American Psycho, even though I have a sort of love-hate relationship with that movie. I’m gonna have to go with Boys Don’t Cry, though.
3. Gabrielle Anwar: I think Things to Do In Denver When You’re Dead is the only one of hers I’ve seen. Recommendations? Substitute with Scarlett Johansson, for whom I pick Lost in Translation.
4. Bridget Moynahan: I haven’t seen any of hers, and suspect I’ll be mad at her if I can bring myself to watch that Ramona and Beezus travesty. Substitute Michelle Pfieffer, for whom my favorite is Dangerous Liasons.
5. Hilary Swank: Another vote for Boys Don’t Cry!
6. Meryl Streep: Death Becomes Her. So much <3 <3 <3.
7. Susan Sarandon: It’s between The Witches of Eastwick and Dead Man Walking. I’ll go for the first one since it makes me happier.
8. Sally Field: Total cliché, but I love Steel Magnolias. I just do.
9. Nicole Kidman: Ohhhhhhhffff. Hmmm. ALL OF THEM!?! Practical Magic, though.
10. Anne Hathaway: Copout: Alice in Wonderland, which is sitting at home waiting for me to watch it.
