Well, I guess this means that Nashville is
"getting a Whole Foods store." alceria asked if I'm excited or bummed about this.
A little of both.
I'm excited because I've heard that Whole Foods is this wonderful awesome thing and I'd also kept hearing rumors that Nashville (well, Brentwood) would be getting one, so I'd already been looking forward to having one in town.
But if I only get a Whole Foods as a replacement to Wild Oats, that kind of sucks, because instead of having an additional option, I just have one of my options converted, but I still only really have a couple of natural foods-type stores to go to in town (and Wild Oats isn't very conveniently located for me. It's one of those stores I have to make a "special point" to go to).
I actually like Wild Oats, and I'm sure I'll like Whole Foods, too, but I do wonder how the price of one compares to the other and whether I'll still be able to buy some of the same products I could get at Wild Oats.
Basically, I want a Whole Foods, but I want it as a new additional thing -- as another option. Oh well, though. :)
