Ok, so whilst I was at my Grandmothers house I began thinking about life, death, and time. First things first, what the fuck is time?
Time is a crazy thing. I mean, think about it. There is no such thing as time. Just the cycles of the moon and the sun. Thats not tangible, its not real. Its just a movement, a rotation, an act that has nothing to do with anything but light and temperature. But, it seems that with each cycle our bodies grow. What causes us to grow? I dont know. Its not time though, its something else. Growing is living, because if we arent growing we arent living, we are still. Now, death... what is death? Our bodies expire. But, how? and, why? (Excluding accidents such as car wrecks ect) Our heart slows down. Why? We grow a tumor. Why? It doesnt make sense. What causes our bodies to expire? What is inside our bodie? Has anyone actually seen the inside of a body other than in books and magazines? Who writes these books? How can we trust them with what is actually inside of us. Why do we take textbooks as facts? How do we know that they are true? What if everything thats in a textbook is wrong? What if everything in the textbook is right? How would they know its right. Whats fact? Whats fiction? Who decides morality? Who decided immorality?
Human, or "human" life is an amazing thing. We all take it for granted. Look around, observe, realize that there is a higher purpose, a reason, a need for progression.
Or, are we meant for this? Constant, eternal (what is eternal?) search for something. What is out there? Are there planets, moons, suns, stars? The obvious answer would be yes. But, how do you know? A textbook told you.
What if the universe is all just a theatre for the Gods. What if we are the actors? Or maybe we're the stage crew. What if the Gods are the actors? What if "Gods" are actually lower than us? What if there is no such thing as higher or lower?
You know nothing. I know nothing. But, we all know. Somewhere deep inside us, or maybe right at the surface, knows the truth. Maybe its not truth though. Maybe, maybe.. maybe its false. We are doomed. We are not doomed. There is no such thing as damnation. There is no such thing as you or I.
But, we live. Day to day we live. Sun up, Moon down. We live. We live to die.
