I've embarked on a journey this past few months, a journey into entrepeneurship.
Namely, I'm starting a small animation studio with a couple of colleagues/friends.
It's a great experience, really great. Wheeling and dealing, writing a business plan, brainstorming, collaborating.
We're also working on ( and finally finishing ) a music video for a local band.
They go by Amos the Transparent, a great bunch of guys.
I'm up late, working on a build of a character and it just dawned on me that if I could make this work, if I could build a career from scratch, working with friends, doing what I love, then I will someday down the line be able to die a happy man.
Weird feeling.
