Time Sculpture #1 - A steampunk stargate :D Time Travel
Hey jules... you stargate fan you - I thought of you when i was making this.
I took a day off on Friday and spent it creating things. It was one of the best things I think I could have done ever - a mental health break. I think I need to do it more often. Its been really rough just trying to keep The Sh*t together but I'm coming to some Realizations about Work and Happieness. Hmf. Of coure TheBad understands.
So part of the break was to finally get around to making some of the Steampunk Sculptures I have been thinking about for months now. It can actually take a while to put everything together... Just gathering the materials takes an age.
This fellow - looks to me like a mockup of a Stargate - or a time travel device. You can't really tell from this angle (one is a bird's eye view) but its on a nice little metal platform.
I guess I'll sell it on Ebay eventually, since I've no idea how to price it. I'm so excited about some of the new things I'm going to see if I can post again later.
