The Plan!
Wow, I've been posting so much lately. It feels weird. Anyway!
Today was pretty cool. Both literally and metaphorically! The folks from Scooter Night set up a ride out to Minneola, and about 15 or 20 people ended up going. It went really well, and we all had alot of fun, and I hung out with the usual Scooter Night crew afterwards talking about plans for a Christmas ride to go look and lights and stuff.
As we were talking, we got onto the subject about how we wish more girls would come out to Scooter Night... And, I decided to share an anecdote about one of my first times attending.
A couple people had just finished playing pool... And, the loser invited me to go play. He was incredibly friendly, and offered alot of advice... Which, at one point, included "Go on, you can put your leg up on the table if it'll help you make the shot. No, really, go on, it's ok." I thought it was a little odd, but sure, why not.
I later came to find out that he thought I was hot. And... A girl.
And, after telling this story, one of the other guys was like "Yeah, until I saw you a couple meetups later with facial hair, I thought you were an manly chick".
What is this?! I mean, this just seems to be a running gag lately. It's always been around, but just in the past month or so, it's been a particularly common topic.
And, so, I have decided... No Shave November is almost over, and I still have a three-day beard... But, a month is about as long as I've ever grown it out. It's time to see what I look like after two months... Or, three months... Or, six months. Something should develop at some point, right?!
It better. Facial hair is the only way I can really outwardly advertise that I am, in fact, male. At least, without getting arrested...
I like the way I look. I like my body, I like my clothes, I like my hair... I just don't understand why people mistake me for a girl. This will all end when I finally have a mustache worth talking about!
