Assuming that's a nickname
Hello,
I was told to contact you by Dan Faraday about getting a protective amulet. Do you mind if I ask what exactly your amulets do? I have no doubt they work as advertised, I'm just curious about the possible limitations.

The amulets are really kind of basic. I take a normal object and make it sort of protect people. It's kind of like it gives you really good luck. My dad has one, and when he got shot at none of the bullets hit him. But I don't really know exactly how it works. I just make them by instinct.

One thing -- do you know where the Conrad Hotel is? I --
No sense beating around the bush -- I'm partly mechanical, and while I can hide most of my 'modifications' under a coat and gloves, I do have a tendency to let off random bursts of steam. I don't think it would particularly prudent for me to go outside with the CLF around. I can meet you in the lobby, though.

Yeah, I think all of us could use a little luck these days.
Oh, gosh. That's incredible. How does it
That's just fine. I know where the Conrad, a lot of people have been talking about it. I can come there just fine. It's going to take me a few days to make the amulet, though. Is there anything in particular that you want it to be? It can be anything, really.

It's very complicated.
Heh, I'm sure. That's okay, I'm not in any rush. I don't have Actually, if you can find one, some sort of timepiece would be nice -- I used to collect clocks back home.

A timepiece? I think I've got an idea, then! Alright. I'll come by the Conrad around noon next Saturday. Is that okay?
