(no subject)
OK OK, I know that I have not updated this thing in a while, but I have my reasons. Lots of random stuff has happened in the last bit of time. The major thing is that I got a new job at Goodwill. Generally, it sucks. I get paid barely anything and have to work my ass off. I handle the donations coming in the back of the store. Given it has its perks, like having first pick of everything that comes in, and I work with two of my best friends Chris and Jeremy, but the bad out weighs the good. First of all it is basically like manual labor, heavy lifting, sweating, being out in the elements all day(trying not to get tan has become quite difficult),working with red-necks, etc. I get home from work everyday, and find myself to exhausted too even update this. I am trying to find a new job. In the meantime I have cut back my hours from 5 days a week to 4, which will help.
Apart from work things have been decent. My sweetie Daniela is moving in with me in a few weeks for reasons you can see on her journal, no need to re-type it here. I am very excited. We have not lived together for a little over a year, and I miss it. I have been hanging out with with my friends a good deal, which has been nice. Went to Shampoo-poo a few times which was ok...I guess. Saw Covenant in D.C. which was really good, though I was to drunk to remember the entire show. Got another spike in my ear! And I have been working a lot...
I have decided to try and make a big effort to update this more often. So here goes. Today: I took the train up to philly yesterday to visit Daniela for a few days. This morning we went to the Mutter Museum, which we have been meaning to do for literally years. It was incredibly interesting, but sad at the same time. Many people there were treating it as a sort of Necro-Freak Show, instead of a scientific exhibit, but what can one really expect from humanity. Afterward we went to Tower Records where I bought a cool action figure, and Daniela bought a couple cute stickers and a best of Cyndi Lauper CD. Then we went to I. Goldberg where I found a really cool pair of red camo cargo pants, which I am going to modify. Then had some yummy food in China town. Tonight we are going to watch Alien 3.
