Deck Progress
Another weekend full of sawdust.
Got most of the decking down, all of the rail posts and pergola posts up, installed the two main beams in the pergola, and started cutting the fancy purlins to go on top of the pergola, before chaos and exhaustion brought work to a halt on Sunday afternoon.
I really only move things perceptibly forward on the weekends - on weeknights, by the time I've got home, eaten & changed, it's just getting into mosquito snack-time, and it's never long before they chase me into the house.
After each burst of activity, I'm trying to remember to take pictures, so I can see progress, which feels agonizingly slow despite two 10 hour days of solid work.
