It's official, I have bruxism. I had a dream where I thought I was eating hard candy and I could hear it in my mouth.. but then Irma woke me up (we had a sleep over in my room) because she could hear me "eating candy or something"...so she asked me, "Dain, what are you doing?" and I replied with a soar jawand said, "oh shit, I was grinding my teeth..". Gross! Now I'm afraid to sleep!

Anyway, CNN won't shut the fuck up about this whole Danish-Muslim thing. It's starting to really piss me off; GET OVER IT.

My first weekend here was a lot of fun!
Friday: I went to my friends house (Karlien) for her birthday party and we ate many sweets, weird chips, chocolates and appelflappen. We all went to the discoteque ("The Shuffle") and drank, danced and mingled. I saw a lot of people from my school. Since I'm the "foreign girl", I've been getting hit on a lot. It's weird because they think I'm from like.. Russia..sick. Afterwards, we biked home drunk arond 4am. Parties here start at 11-11:30pm until 5am.

Saturday: I didn't suffer from a hangover, which was sick!!! ..but my throat hurt like a bitch! I'm still not used to clean air ..ha! Jahfed (Irma's boyfriend), Irma and I went to a city called Breda. It was a cute place with pancake restaurants everywhere.. so we didn't hesitate to eat some. We shopped, visited some old buildings, watched live street entertainment, and walked through a beautiful park. Later that night, we went to the largest discoteque in the Benelux (Belgium, Lux., Netherlands) and it was really cool. There were huge rooms of different genres of music and lots of people.

Breda...

Sunday: Leo (Irma's dad) and I took a car ride to see some windmills, farms, canals, and a WWII cemetery.
These are pictures from the cemetery..

I found the cemetery to be very moving. It really hit me ..how many soldiers sacrificed their lives. The thing that bothered me most, was the endless amount of "Ein Deutscher soldat"/"unknown soldiers" because I thought about how many thousands of families not knowing if their young teenager, husband, father, etc. have survived. ..Just a thought.

Today I got out of school at 11am, so now I have the day to plan dinner, do my homework and relax.

I miss this bear so much!

..and not to mention, my pea and french-verb-gull!!

That's all for now!

love
Dainz
