Lots and lots of whiskey, please.

The raucous wave of laughter had knocked Katie back slightly, her dangerously close to drooping eyelids snapping open and widening as she shared a glance with Ted, her co-agent with the Irish National team. She had obviously missed a very funny joke. But thankfully, no one paid her any attention, the lot of them having too much fun teasing Ted for his new wedding ring, all of them playing sad that they weren't invited to the ceremony. She stifled a smile before excusing herself from the table.

She had a slight headache and what with their table being the most boisterous in the pub, she figured she'd have a slight reprieve at the bar- especially if it was under the guise of a new round for everyone.

She smoothed out the skirt of her dress, her heels clicking on the hardwood as she approached.

The White Lie was a new pick for her, exceedingly Muggle but perfect for the contractual conversations they would be having. She reminded herself to give Ted his props for the choice.

Then, she decided to send him a fruit basket instead as she took in the sight of the bartender.

"Erm- hi-" she said, offering him a sort of lopsided smile. "Can I uh- get-"

She paused, looking back to the table.

"Two old-fashioneds, one manhattan and I think- yes, three whiskeys- one neat, please."
