Ok, so I know I've been seriously neglecting this thing lately. It seems like all I'm doing is updating with comic book pictures.
Life has been pretty decent lately. I feel like I've been working non-stop, though. The way my days off are, it feels like I only get one a week. If you count working every Tuesday night at City Hall, well, then, yeah, I do only get a single day off a week.
I feel like I have a lot to recap, but at the same time, I don't. I still love the new Counting Crows album, and I'll continue to listen to it until probably I see them again this summer. If you're interested in them, I'd highly suggest a download of Los Angeles, Cowboys, Washington Square, Sundays, On Any Given Sunday, and On a Tuesday in Amsterdam long ago. Those are the key tracks, if you ask me.
A couple days ago I bought the fourth volume of Batman: The Animated Series. I started with the fourth (and final) volume because I wanted some Batgirl and Nightwing goodness. So every night, it's nice to curl up, watch a few episodes and chill out.
Oh, also. This week there was a special on ice cream at Food Lion. I never buy sweets like that anymore, but I figured once in a while is ok. And for the record, Vanilla Sandwich Edy's ice cream is hands down the best ice cream I've ever had. Seriously, it's fucking DELICIOUS!
I want it to the this summer, god dammit. I take a mini-vacation in the beginning of June, I've got the entire week of HeroesCon off, and in July I'll be seeing Counting Crows and possibly again in August. It'd be a really great send off for this summer, which is amping up to the best of my life. There's also a big surprise this summer, but I can't really talk about it yet. Maybe later.
