Just a quickie
Not much to update on.
The Lions are go. Israel has agreed to start the comic a little before I can pay him. This is wonderful, awesome, great news. This leads me into talking about this summer a little. At least the convention aspect of it. In case you forgot, I'll be attending HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC. I'll be rooming with Pat Loika and a few others, and this is going to be a "vacation con". No exhibiting or anything. It'll be a nice, relaxing con. Then Pat and I drive back here to Chesapeake, spend a few days relaxing, and then fly out to Chicago for Wizard World Chicago. This is going to be a "job con". Chances are The Lions won't be done in time, but I will have lots of preview stuff to show. That is, if there is room at Pat's table. Haven't got a chance to talk to him much about that. But it's very, very exciting.
I finally got to buy Popgun Vol. 1. It's really good. Some stories are weaker than others, but it's still a great buy. I highly recommend it to everyone. There's something for every kind of comic book fan.
Not much to talk about as far as video games go. I beat Mass Effect, and it was awesome. I bought Justice League Heroes for PS2. It's ok. Kinda...boring. Especially because I'm roughly an hour or so in and I haven't been able to chose my characters yet. No offense Superman, Batman, Zatanna, or Martian Manhunter. I just really want to have my 2-man team be The Green Arrow and Hal Jordan. Boo on the lack of Black Canary in the game. You know it'd be awesome to go through as GA and her. Oh well.
I guess that's all for now. I just have to keep on trucking for the next 2 or so months until my real life begins.
