I can be incredibly happy without seeing a single soul but my dad and my dog. Said dad thinks this is weird, anti-career behavior that suggests the loss of fundamental social mechanisms, but in an indulgent, look-at-my-daughter-the-sociopath way. Haha! The Sims was actually a pet vice of mine a year or two ago. I'd had this smooth talking romance-oriented character named Corrigan Howes and kind of started an accidental Mormon-like situation on his street. >> You're right, it's a fabulous game for getting away from everyone! And no fear, that made total sense -- I'm very reassured. :D

And yes, gardening. XD I've wanted to grasp the ropes of basic gardening forever, and though I can remember having a little patch of things as a kid, I want to be able to grow my own food and kind of... have the swing of horticulture, if that makes sense? I had horses when I was younger, and one thing I really enjoyed about the experience was figuring out... the ins and outs of an organism, via analytic / abstract accounts of the critter... and then applying it. I'm trying to do the same thing with the plants: figure out how they work, and experimenting on the basis of that knowledge.

-cough- Playing mechanic with a car might be a better way to go about it, but. -smallvoice- I can't drive. XD
