So next year, I've decided to be like.

That's what I'm spending money on.
Any convention that isn't so far away that it requires expensive plane tickets?
Going to it.
Maybe I'm just a little upset that Mom won't let me go to D*C solely because she thinks I'll get lost.
It is seriously set a week or less before college starts. And she's still like, thumbthumbthumb. She says, until I've lived in Knoxville for a month, I can't go. Which is a load of crock. I mean. Yes, I'll have gotten used to -that city-, but it's still not giving me driving experience for Atlanta.
And I can't "just go anyway" because technically she can (and would) still call the police and I would be in trouble. Because running away is illegal. And I won't be 18 until October.
Just gotta keep my job, and I'll be fine.
I'm making around $125 a week, and only get gas about every other week.
And I don't spend anything on anything else, except food every once in a while, like when I work a double and eat at the Roadhouse or Charley's Steakery. Mmm, cheddar&bacon fries.
I'm sick. URI. D:
It isn't too serious, but still makes me feel more miserable than when I have something that is more dangerous. Hooray for ignoring high fevers but going to the doctor for an upper respiratory infection~!
Right now I'd be in Web Page. Which hurts to miss. Because we just started doing longer assignments dealing with video editing, instead of short little things in flash. In flash, I was only working 1/3rd of the time, and being on the internet for the rest.
Now it takes me over half the class period to do the assignment. Not bad, but frustrating when you miss a day and it takes to more than one class period to make it up.
Plus, I already said "screw it" to one assignment, because the tutorial was worded badly and I didn't understand what the fuck it wanted me to do.
So I have a 0 on that. Which is fine, as long as I get everything else in.
Like, I already have a 92, and it's going to continue going up if I get more grades in.
(there are only 4-5 right now. It was only a 120 point project, while the others were like, 250 or 400 or something.)
Everything else is fine. TA thing, orchestra, English CP, Sci-Fi? Easy to make up. Though we do have a test in Sci-Fi today. Oops.
