it is truly morning again in america :D
i'll write more later, but i was a poll worker for the county yesterday. it felt good to be non partisan and just help everyone vote, and of course i think i was much less nervous with not being able to be on the internet all day ;) the turnout in the district i was in was amazing, as it was everywhere else-- we had time to calculate that 75% of the registered voters in the district voted (which of course is different than the general population turnout number out of all people registered or not). as president elect obama said in his speech last night, it is really amazing that so many people have felt that it was worth it to make their voice heard.
