Count Portmon is a solo project of a Prague-based musician, teacher and journalist Jan Faix. Jan plays the piano and the synthesiser in various bands of diverse music genres, be it in the avant-garde rock Unifiction, or the numerous electro-acoustic improvisation projects, such as Tembryo trio, the international ÖNCZkekvist Orchestra, earlier also the Noise Pictures of Boris Gagloev. Under the pseudonym of Count Portmon, Jan focuses primarily on experimental electronic music.
