Another day, another year
So, today I'm 23. Though currently swamped at work, here's a rundown of some notable events since I turned 22:
June and July of 2004:
Worked in DC and Boston with some awesome people. Didn't make a whole lot of money, but got to travel and make great friends.
August:
Went to San Francisco to see Nathan while he was studying at ACT. Not only was the trip a lot of fun, but it was my first reunion with a college friend since graduation (which had only happened in May, but still...)
Started law school...yeah.
October:
Went to DC on Halloween weekend to reunite with Tracy, Shelly, and Nathan. Tracy hosted us, which was incredibly awesome of her. Also great because Shelly and I had no idea Nathan was coming, and he surprised us on Saturday morning. Mad props to Tracy for keeping it a secret all day Friday!
New Year's:
Went to New York City to reunite with Charles, Genevieve and Shelly. Lots of fun, and lots of illnesses, hehe. But hey, alcohol kills the germs, right? Plus, this was the first of what we hope will be an annual tradition (New Year's reunions in different cities).
Late February:
Brandon and I went on our first date.
early March:
Shelly comes to visit during her Spring break for a weekend. Finally went to Six Flags...and Duke lost to UNC in a game they had in the bag...booo.
May:
Finished my first year of law school, yay for remaining in good standing, heh. Brandon and I decided we didn't want to do long distance over the summer because we don't see ourselves becoming very serious. Subsequently, we pretty much end our "dating" status. Submit my writing competition casenote for law review. Went to LA for an AWESOME weekend and got to hang with a celeb who considers me a "friend". Kick ass. Bro graduates from high school. And I begin work at a firm.
Good year. Here's hoping it gets even better. :)
