The first
I went on two trips this break, and they were just swell. The first was just around malaysia, places like KL, Melaka and Genting. My cousins and I make it a point to talk our family into going to Genting every year just so we could go to the theme park there. And we never ever get bored of it, no. Haha. Im pretty positive that I won't ever get bored of theme parks. But I don't no why, Genting always seems the last place we head to during all of our trips. And Melaka always being the first. Maybe it have to do with the distance, but I really don't no. I find Melaka quite boring, to be honest, and I dont enjoy it as much as KL and Genting. KL for shopping and Genting for fun! YAY! Melaka=food???
Haha. But anyway they added more shopping districts so I guess it's kind of better now. More shopping(: I think we only spent 2 days in Melaka, shopping and eating. Shop, eat, sleep. Shop, eat, sleep. Shop, eat, sleep. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Yeah. So you kind of get it. Next was KL, and the rest of my family went home except my Godpa, Godma, sis, my 3 lil cuzzies and me. Because they had to work, thats why.(We're a big family, even without distant relatives and cousins.) So we said goodbye... goodbye.... and we were off to KL. It was really squeezy, with 5 people at the back of the car, what with my lil cousins trying to choke an entire seat by themselves, but thats the fun part. I love going overseas, so much. Anyway, we spent erm.. about 2 days too, in KL, shopping and eating too. But KL was more fun, the hotel was much much much much much much much much better too, anyways. We stayed at Tiara, a golf resort in Melaka and it was just ancient and really horrible! They didn't even have a telephone, for goodness sake! And the rooms were so small the 5 of us had to sleep on comforters on the cold hard ground. But it was fun, though. Like camping. So anyway, we stayed a much much much much much much much much much much much much better hotel in KL, named One World. It is a relatively new hotel in town, and it is really really really good. And if I say anything 3 times, I really really really mean it. Haha. My littlest cousin said excitedly, "Ahhh. We finally come to a real hotel!!" That got the biggest laugh of the night. And it was so good that all 6 of us(including my Godma) did a DIY spa there.
Then came Genting! My highlight of the trip! Haha. The ride up to Genting was thrilling, as usual. I get an adrenaline rush from the car climbing up the mountain while putting my head out of the window, feeling the cool wind. This time the cold hit me faster than usual. I think I have rheumatism, with my feet aching in the cold. lol. And I think the cold gets to me fast these days. But I still love the cold Im good in it. Well we mucked about in the hotel after we checked in, and then we went to the theme park. Im a daredevil at rides, and I sat on all of them. Haha. I really love theme parks. Well we only spent a day in Genting, sadly, and the next day, we were going down the mountain. We wound down the windows again, and I think my cousin got motion sickness, cause we stopped halfway where she puked. We stopped somewhere else, and again at another stop to eat dinner. Then we continued, and got home. lol. My cousin was being very rude by not letting us sleep in peace. It was night time, and we were all drained. She kept trying to keep us awake by laughing and talking and shaking and laughing again. But anyway it was all cool and the trip was great.
