I went to the St Kilda Festival for an hour and just wondered around, too many poeple everywere, bigger than a big day out. Very much like the sky show without the show. a lot of people walking around looking at all the people. Walking down fitzroy street, a six lane road, swarming with people, i would pass a small club, which had swelled and taken over a section of road and was pumping straight house beat style techno at deafning volume accross the road. People lining up to get in. More replica clubs and resteraurants swollen and enlarged, people on thier balconies, a bunch of shirtless yobbos call out from the roof of shops. A band called "good head shot " or somthing set up in front of thier house and start to play, that funk rock stick. the police try and shut them down, they are talking to the guitarist and he doesn't even stop playing, except to say that they don't have a warrent. What are they going to arrest them for? noise complaints? not being part of the oringinal corperate Sponsored event.
not many bands mostly stalls and rides, $5 to get into the espy, and lines, lots of lines, lines to get into a toilet, lines for food, clubs, booze. Lines to wait in lines. but not much to do.
except look at ppl.
