Listen. Don't start hiding behind walls and wookie body guards dressed in mandalorian body armor. The reason YOU are so fucking amazing and cool is because you're one of us. Okay, maybe none of us are in XXL, but you are (in your heart) the common geek. That is your appeal. Guys like me who have been picked on, made fun of, and even cried (although I will never admit to that) about being different can look to a guy like you (who is living our dream) and can say "Hey, maybe there is some light at the end of the tunnel". I don't expect fame, too old for that shit as far as I can tell, but what you have shown me (In the light at the end of the tunnel kinda way) is that I can be myself and have a bunch of people think that not only is that perfectly alright, but it's kinda cool.

And not only are you hella cool, but we can actually talk to you, and interact with you in a way that most fans only dream of (most NIN fans would give their first born to be able to communicate with Trent Reznor the way we are able to communicate with you). Of course this causes problems, i.e psychos, weirdos, and waste-oids. Shit even I was a semi waste-oid the last time I talked to you (and I could tell I was starting to annoy). Psychos think that because they are also geeks you guys are bbfl and you should move in with them...ain't that a bitch. Waste-oids are annoying as fuck and think you should chill with them for the rest of the night (oblivious to the fact you have to drive for quite a ways). Point is, nothing you can do will satisfy those people. Nothing. People can be selfish...unfortunately it's human nature. So don't let it get you down when that happens.

Your open-ness is a blessing man. No shit, as an artist you inspire me in that dept. I hope I am able to buy you a PBR after your shows for years to come. If for no other reason than to know I ain't the only nerd in America that drinks the shit. If the day comes when I have to yell at you from behind a barricade to sign my ticket stubb...well...shit man, guess I'll do that too. But if nothing else, thank you for giving me the opportunity to buy you some beers once upon a time.
