I just watched Turn Left, as I was away Saturday night. Anyways...
I honestly thought it was kind of boring for a moment, but then it brilliantly picked up.
AHH! Donna, you are too awesome! So important to boot. I really hope the death rumors are not true for the end of the series. I don't want Donna to die.
Also, Rose. I actually became pleased to see her. Wow, just wow. I didn't like her hair though.
Anyways, now for some senseless babble. This episode really gave the feel of the good old myth of how every decision we make, where there is a counter decision, a parallel universe is born for the opposite choice. That's a really hard concept to wrap your brain around, but quite possibly not. This episode also shows how our choices can change our personality. Donna's didn't change much, as she was already infused with a strong character, but her choice to turn right, and how she gave in is ultimately a showing of a different character she is known by us, the audience, to not exactly have. This entire thing really makes you ponder and question yourself into whether you have any choices you made that ultimately created who you are considered today.
All of the acting in this episode was quite wonderful. Tennant's acting at the end, mind how short it was, was quite powerful. It was a wonderful reaction to 'Bad Wolf'. Tate's acting as a whole was just excellent. Also, it is now obvious that 'Rose'/'Bad Wolf' has been the key word all series, despite the claim there is no "word", yet the existance creates a pivital moment.
Can't wait for the massive amounts of companions next few episodes, and I hope it is handled well, and may the credits be huge.
