Flightless Birds

Well, my phone conversations with my mother have reached new heights. At the risk of spending the entire conversations either talking about
A) My work *shudder* (honestly, who outside of medieval studies is REALLY interested in quires and catchwords?)
B) Her work (which, like mine, is usually edited to include only the highlights)

So how do we spend the rest of the time on the phone?

Looking at YouTube videos.

This actually blew a fuse in my head. My mother has discovered YouTube. My mother.
Nay, it gets better.
My mother has an account with YouTube.
I don't have an account with YouTube.

Granted, she did it mostly by accident considering she thought you had to have an account to see the videos, but still.
And how is she enjoying this new found hobby?
By sending me such gems as watching horses get rescued off islands in the Netherlands.
I kid thee not.

Right. In retribution, I decided to show , partially because I needed to something to prove my young adult techno-savy abilities and partially because if she's going to be a true YouTube addict, she's going to need to be up on the latest video trends. And what is a better trend than cute flightless birds? Truly, I ask.

Back to bibliographies.
