So I missed the cut-off by a half-week, mainly because I got possessed by the most bizarro muse ever. And this piece is the product of that union. It is very strange, I can't even really tell you what got me inspired, or how you can inoculate yourself against it

EEEEE! Lost in Dief's head on the Gameshow Network! Dreams for dogs . . . Bad dog! This Dief really needs to get together with Doll's. I love this line; it has great depth. “Fraser, I got a feeling Spaz isn’t gonna get very far - and so aren’t we, for that matter, so why not dance?”

Karen and Anon, thanks for your kind words, I'm very glad you liked this oddball little piece.

And for anyone having wierd deja vu, yes this is a crossover with a Star Trek episode, specifically The City On The Edge of Forever - I planted some teensy clues in the fourth paragraph to tease. Everything Bones says and the conversation Kirk and Spock have with Monty are direct quotes from the ep. I guess Dief was flicking....
