Well, oopsies.
"Etsy users irked after buyers, purchases exposed to the world".
(Etsy responds here, denies that purchases were made public. However, I was still "amused" to find that people could search me by email address.)
Want to know where your account stands?
1) Go here and log in: https://www.etsy.com/your/account/privacy
2) Select accordingly whether you want everyone to see your Favorites, and whether you want people to be able to find you via email address.
...may also want to wander around the rest of your Account settings in general, as good practice.
