what seems like insane

The Master of the Key said, "The universe is breathing, expanding and contracting. It has happened many times before. Eventually it will all contract to something no bigger than a baseball. Then it will explode again, journeying once more through the vastness. Each time it dies, though, it is reborn at a new and higher intensity. Eventually, there will come a moment when its rebirth is so energetic that the velocity of the ‘big bang’ will exceed the speed of light. At that instant, the material world will, itself, go beyond time. Then the prophecy will be fulfilled, ‘I am.’

Now Dr. Paul Steinhardt of Princeton and Dr. Neil Turock have published a paper in Science (Vol. 296, number 5572) entitled "A Cyclic Model of the Universe" which proposes that the universe did not begin with the 'big bang,' but that there is a continuous cycle of expansion and contraction. It is striking that their description would be so similar to the explanation offered by the Master of the Key, and suggests, once again, that this was indeed a most unusual man, whose many other suggestions may be well worth examining.

Whitley Strieber comments, "I still don't know who the Master of the Key was. However, I do know this. He was not only a fine scientist with a grasp of cosmology far in advance of his time, he was a magnificent ethicst. His definition of sin as "the denial of the right to thrive," is, in my opinion, one of the greatest moral statements ever made.

the last quote as sin being "the denial of the right to thrive" strikes me as a powerful thing to think. It makes me feel bad about procrastinating and wasting time. It instantly motivates me to live life to the fullest and find out about everything.

Another thing I've been reading about is time travel, and once again it occurs to me that if time travel is going to be invented, then it has been invented in the future, therefore it is possible that time travellers are with us already.

I've also been interested about Gary Mckinnon, who hacked into military computers, and was caught after accidentally hacking into a military computer that was being used at the time. If he is tried in an American court he may face many years in jail. He was trying to uncover information about UFO's and said he saw satellite pictures of UFOs above the Earth, and that NASA often airbrushes UFOs out of satelite photographs. That anti-gravity technology has already been invented and that technology that would create free efficient fuel technology has also been created.

interesting thought provoking stuff.
