(no subject)
i need some new music. though its more of a want than a need. music isn't the same staple in my life that it is in the lives of others. its just kind of a recreation i stumble upon from time to time, and enjoy listening to while driving around, (which doesn't happen all too often). lame fact #126: i haven't updated my ipod in like a year and a half. and come to think of it, we don't even have itunes on our newer computer...
living here has been a breath of fresh air, not only because we're free of the tac-Roma odor, but also because we can walk or bus to most anywhere we'd like. 5 different grocery stores, 3 dog stores, seattle center, the park where we were married, downtown, light rail, my work, jeneane's school, the ferries, top pot donuts, via tribunali, mama's, and much more. i really like having everything within reach. driving is an option, too, but knowing that our car is safe and sound three stories underground in the garage instead of out on the street is a relief. and the longer it chills there, the better we do on gas and not destroying the environment. if only housing for purchase wasn't so damn expensive, we could actually consider buying a place here to live in for a while, and all would be perfect. but housing is uber pricey, so my selfish fingers are crossed for a one-sided real estate miracle... something like a $550-$600k 2bd/2ba non-defective top floor unit with stellar finishes somehow dropping into the low $200ks or less in the next 2 years! wouldn't that be something!? something of a dream...
anyway, i couldn't be happier with our move to seattle from tacoma from syracuse from seattle. though rocky at first due to happenings beyond our control, its smoothed into something wonderful.
