J0.

It's been, what (april, may, june) two months. At least. It's been a while since I wrote in here, and since nobody else seems to be writing, I think this project's been abandoned by all parties. I've still got things I have to remember that won't fit in my brain, though, so I'm going to spill them here and pick it up later.

First things first, the dream I had.

I think it was over a month ago, maybe even earlier, but I think it's been since the WoW release (my char's Alastair on Eldre'thalas, fyi). I think I'd spent too much time in the Night Elf areas, 'cause the construction/environment was kind of the same, and I seem to remember blasting things with spells (in the dream).

I came to a juncture, a kind of dead end, with short, curved double doors on either side of me and ahead. I knew what was behind the door in front of me, I had been that way before and I had no desire to repeat the experience. I needed to make a decision between the door to my left and the door to my right quickly, though, because I was being chased. I wasn't particularly afraid of my pursuers, but I wasn't very interested in being caught, either. Having no idea what was behind either door, I took a second to get an empathatic idea of which I should enter. There wasn't anything behind the left door, in fact, I couldn't sense anything behind that door. Behind the right, though, I could sense Larissa, and that made up my mind instantly. I flung open the right door, stepping into a large, open stone pavilion. I don't know anything about archetecture, but the columns were round, had grooves in them running vertically, and had square bases and tops with culiques cut into them. There was a large, dark, heavy wooden table in the center groaning with various dishes and snacks. In my mind, the scene looked like a wedding reception, and the people scattered around the pavilion were certainly dressed for it (now that I think about it, I had this dream over a year ago...). The pavilion was walled in the back by a grassy slope that literally was backed up to and touching the stone ceiling and floor. I closed the door behind me, noticing the guests all wearing white, the women wearing full dresses and the men...well, I can't remember what the men were wearing, but it seemed appropriate (I don't think it was a suit). I saw my sister and mom off to the left on the far side of the table, and could sense that my dad was somewhere on my right. Even stronger, I could sense Larissa's presence, still ahead of me. As I came around the table, I saw that I was in a deep valley, covered in the greenest grass I've ever seen and still glistening in dew. The mountains forming the valley weren't particularly tall, for mountains, but were very steep and round at the top, like a child's drawing of a tall hill. In to the side of the "hill" behind me the pavilion had been built, and on the other side of the table I could see another pavilion and a dirt path connecting the reception pavilion and the one in the distance. This other pavilion was also built into a hill, but was about 20 feet lower in elevation and on the other side of the valley, about 3/4 of a mile away. At this point my mind shifted subtly, this place was safe, warm, and bright, and instead of being pushed forward by my pursuers, I was being drawn to Larissa, in the other pavilion. I stepped down from the stone floor of the reception pavilion and onto the dirt path, moving at a steady and smooth pace. As I left the reception, the guests followed me, talking amongst themselves in a light and good natured manner. None of it seemed to touch me, I was drawn to the other pavilion. I felt Larissa's presence more strongly as I went, but I resisted the urge to speed up. As I came near the pavilion, she appeared suddenly, standing on the edge in a beautiful white dress (think Padme at the end of Ep1, but with more pearls and skin). Her hair was up in curls, but several locks of those curls fell around her bare shoulders and back. She was smiling her dazzling smile, and holding some white flower in her hand. Needless to say, I was in about as much love as someone can be, and as I came up on the edge of the pavilion, the crowd behind me went quiet and made a ring around the entrance to the pavilion (most of the structure was actually inside the "hill"). An old man stood a little further into the pavilion, not more than five feet, and read some words from his Bible. I think he was marrying us, but I couldn't hear what he was saying, because I was drowning in her bright blue eyes and smiling like an idiot.

That's all I can remember.

I tried to draw the pavilion that we were married in, but due to severe, crippling retardism I only managed a cheezy sketch. My English skills are severely hampered, as well, so I'm not sure that my description does my dream justice.

Whew, that's a lot. Glad I got it off my chest...more later.

Smiley out.
