Today I totally had a SQUEE SEND ME ON VACATION TO SPRING TRAINING NOW moment. At Metsblog they had some links to some guy's pictures from spring training. One of them was when the Mets last played in Winter Haven at the Indians. We're seeing two games there - one when they play the Mets and one when they play the Yankees. I saw this one picture:
AH! I know our seats are going to be close to that. So I had to investigate. I hate Microsoft but I have to say that their maps are sometimes better than Google's. Anyway, I found the stadium and I present my (badly) photoshopped picture that I've entitled: Wishful Thinking.
You can see where we are sitting for the Mets game (FIRST ROW BABY) and for the Skanks. My wishful thinking comes into who I hope will be pitching that day. Mr Johnny Maine. I've definitely gotten on the Maine Train this year. I've always liked him and I remember the day he got drafted into being the Division Series opening pitcher and I was arguing with a guy at work who said he'd suck but I said he'd be awesome and he was. He's always awesome. Plus he's pretty sarcastic as am I so I am equally more intrigued by that. heh.
My Daisy Daisy Villager came today and it is so cute and springy and perfect for a week of baseball and carrying all the things I'll have to carry. BASEBALL NOW!
