king kong
saw the midnight showing of king kong, it was an awesome movie...but left me questioning humanity...the story is based on how humans see this relatively peaceful creature stuck in a violent world as a monster, and a way to make money...the girl who he loves and who grows to love him is the only one that realizes that he's not a monster...this and all the other little parts of the story leave me wondering why i am here...it leaves me thinking life is pointless, and that we are wasteful, greedy, destructive creatures, with little hope of being able to really and truly change or grow towards any sort of "enlightenment" if you will...this disturbs me, because i want there to be a way for us all to change things for the better, yet at the same time, i'm just like anyone, who just wants a relatively comfortable happy loving life...i don't know what to think about it all really, just it leaves me doubtful of things...
