my first post!
Ok so I thought it would be a good idea to get one of these things before I leave for college, so all of my adoring fans would be up to date on everything I'm doing up there in Rock Hill. So I did, and here it is! Even though I don't leave until Friday, I'll start telling you about my adventures today.
Today I had to go to the doctor to get a routine physical that you have to have before you begin college. I know I waited until the last minute but oh well. My mom had to go for something else, so we went together. It was at 9:30, so I got up, got a shower, and we left. I hadn't looked at the paper that they had to fill out, but it ended up that I needed to take a urine test. So the nurse took my BP and all that, and then asked me to go fill up a cup in the bathroom! Well I hadn't drank anything at all yet today so I told her that I doubted that I could but I would try. So I get in the bathroom, write my name on a cup, and sit down. Nothing! I sat in there for like 10 minutes but it was no use. There was no liquid in my body. So I came back to the room and told her it was a NO-GO. So I took the vision part and I have 20/10 in each eye which is spectacular I guess. So then she asked me to try again to pee in the cup. So I wrote my name on another cup, sat down, but no luck. Then the doctor came in to do the rest of the physical. It was then that she decided that she thinks I have a mild case of scoliosis! She asked me if my back hurt and I said no because it doesn't and she said that we don't have to worry about it much right now but she wants me to get an x-ray done anyways. So then my mom came in and the doctor told me to turn around and show my mom my back so she lifted up my shirt and THAT'S when she asked me how long had I had this black mole on my back. I said as long as I can remember. So then she proceeds to tell me that it looks irregular so it might be melanoma!!! and that I should have it taken off. Before I go to school. Keep in mind that's the day after tomorrow. I was like there's no way. So I'll have to do it on a break or something. Hopefully my body can hold out until then without falling apart. So I still hadn't gotten to pee yet so I tried YET again, by this time I could hear the nurses outside the bathroom betting whether or not I would go. But the third time's a charm right? No. So Dr. Campbell told me to go for a ride and come back. I gulped down about 20 dixie cups of water while I had been there so I knew it was on its way. So my mom and I drove around and finally it hit me! So we raced back there, I peed in the cup, everything was fine. And that's been my day so far! Oh well we ate at Los Arcos afterward and then Dex came over for a little bit before he had to go to work. Tomorrow we're hanging out all day because it's my last day to be with him! I have a feeling I should use some water-proof mascara.
