I was just online looking at different quotes by different philosophers, scientests, and men who contributed a lot to society. It is amazing the great wisdom that these men had. Most of it is still applicable, and so...mind-boggling....others are simple statements that make so much sense! I believe I will start memorizing a quote a day just to use in daily dialogue. Because truly, these thoughts should not be lost.
Oscar Wilde, Thomas Jefferson, Emily Dickinson....the list goes on and on.
About the quotes, I'm having a hard enough time with the word a day. But really, there are amazing thoughts out there, and I believe that we shouldn't spend the time dwelling on those, but living our lives, and coming up with our own. Through our own experiences, own thoughts, and own emotions.
Life is for the living. Don't dwell on the past.
Some quotes I think are absolutely amazing others may believe are terrible. Advice I give-some may not take. It's all about one's own experience. My life is completely different from every other single person's out there. Some may feel exactly as I felt 3 days ago, thus turning to me for support would be exactly what is needed. Others who may turn to me, or their neighbor, may not realize that they will soon be the support that the same friend they're turning to will need, going through a similar situation, a week, a month, even years from now.
Don't be afraid to reach out, and to enjoy life, and to truly live.
Many feelings are just excuses, and not real reasons for anything. Talk to someone, I promise they will care. I will care.
For some reason this has gotten kind of mushy. I think it may be because I'm listening to Christmas Carols, and this one is just a really slow orchestra...Gloria, Gloria....
Life is too short!
The Subject quote is Oscar Wilde's. He gets full credit, but I get credit for really understanding it, and knowing what it is he is talking about.
