Nearly-Birthday Musings...
So after the whirlwind of preparation and getting in the spirit for Janel's surprise party, I'm surprisingly underwhelmed by my own birthday on Wednesday.
I'll be 26, big deal.
I'm being taken out for dinner left and right this week, so that'll be nifty.
But it's the shift from making a big deal of someone else's, to the nonchalance of my own, it's interesting, though I lack any real perspective.
