Ah, updating bliss....
First of all, my apartment's clean, except for some dishes from last night. I suggest you come witness this once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon.
That said, I'd spent all of yesterday trying to get a copy of Final Fantast: Advent Children downloaded and working. I dl'ed it twice and got the same problem of shaky video, turns out that it was the program I was using, not the file. I snooped around for another program to play it, and bingo.
Square might have lost a gob of money when they decided to release this first in Japan, because it's available all over the place with subtitles. I will probably buy it, though, and then go bug a friend who's got a big screen into letting me watch it there, because this is just beautiful.
If you played FF7, then you need to see this. It's just gorgeous.
