So last night I got to see The Polyphonic Spree and it was an amazing experience. The songs were fantastic. Seeing 25 people jamming out on different instruments was great. They broke the show up into two parts, the first where they were wearing their new Fragile Army uniforms and the second part where they changed into their traditional white robes and then re-entered by walking through the audience and played some more stuff. They played alot of my favs and I was especially pleasantly surprised by their cover of Nirvana's "Lithium" which sounded awesome with the full band rocking out to it.
What made the experience even more special to me though was that I was able to bring my camera into the show and was able to get some awesome shots. I have already posted a few of them on my photo website
www.clickpictony.com and plan to post some more in the next few days. Check out the photos and tell me what you think.
In other news, I've been busy but happy with the new job. Co-workers are all pretty cool. Also been hanging out with friends and taking plenty of photos, both of which are nice. The other big thing is that Jon and I are starting a band again. We already have a few songs written and a drummer to play with. We are currently looking for another guitarist and a keyboardist so if you guys know of one in the Houston area, feel free to point them our direction.
Anyway, hope you guys are doing well. See you next time.
