2:47am and still not sleeping
It's early in the morning and I can't fall asleep (again) so I decided to write some stuff down on LJ. Just saw Ray last night for the first time and after seeing I had two very clear thoughts. 1) I love the music he wrote and 2) Ray Charles Robinson is a complete asshole. Now the first I can give him credit for because I know what he wrote and how good of a musician he was. The second I'm not so sure about, but if the movie had any truth to it what-so-ever about the way he treated his wife, friends, and colleagues, then Ray Charles was a jackass. If you are completely shocked and have not seen the movie, I encourage you to do so because it is in fact a pretty darn good movie. If you did see the movie and are still shocked by what I say, either you saw the wrong movie or you are very, very blind. Other than that, I've been relaxing and can't wait for the weekend.
