midwest voyage, update 2
today we busted out a fat seven-hundred miles on I-90, most often at 75 miles an hour. that's really damn fast, for the record. i got to drive a chunk of that, and it was awesome. did some thinking, did some sweating, but most of all, did some surviving.
i survived, of course, to bring the scoop on idaho and montana. there are some aspects of this place that need evaluation, for the sake of our cultured northwestern asses.
things that are the definitive cool:
the trees.
things that are not cool:
cowboys.
kum&Go.
people having BBQs in the parking lots of Super8 Motels
the religious right.
if you notice, the ratio of good parts to bad is completely fucked. and i'm being objective and non-biased here.
well, our motel has internet and breakfast, and a weight room. you know what that means...
