Greetings from 2021
HEY! Thought I'd come over here and practice some sentence writing. It's been so long! I'll need a few more posts to remember proper grammar and all that stuff.
So yeah. I didn't even bother with a token update during 2020, because, well, 2020?
I'm still in Oregon (Portland) and it's been a fun ride so far. There are FAR worse places to spend a pandemic in. So much incredible beauty to explore just a few miles from my house. Which is what I've been doing all year, via car and bicycle. There is adventure everywhere here, even in my own friendly-cat-n-dog-filled neighborhood. :) We love the community here. We love our neighborhood. My partner and I have met so many great people, and we can't wait to continue getting to know everyone even more!
I'm going to do my part and be safe, be considerate of others, and wait for my turn to get vaccinated. Hopefully we can turn this all around soon. No promises on what "soon" means. I've learned my lesson to not put a timeline on things like that.
In the meantime, back to my Portland adventure.
