I wanna sing (talk) in a Slint cover band. Anyone interested? No, of course not. But it is a cool idea I think.
I think I figured out a solution to my guitar problem. I'm gonna take the neck and bridge off my Epiphone and put them on the other guitar. Pretty good idea right? That'll at least hold me over until I can afford the neck I want.
Today turned out vey boring.
Mom yelled at me b/c I haven't gotten my amp fixed yet. So, according to her I have two alternatives. Call Jeremy and get him to fix, which I'd planned to do anyway, but then she's been yelling about it for week s and it makes me mad that she thinks she has a say in what I do with my stuff so I just haven't (I know, I don't understand my logic either). Or, she's going to go buy the parts herself and charge me for them and then make me fix it. I like this plan b/c I know she doesn't know what to buy, and she can't make me fix it b/c I don't know shit about wiring stuff. So, good luck making that one work mom. I don't know why we fight so much, but it's never serious. I think we just enjoy antagonizing one another.
I'm thinking of getting a place of my own come fall. There are these apartments in Newark near the train tracks that are like 200 a month. I mean they aren't great, but they aren't sooooo terrible. I think it'd be good to be on my own. At least until I transfer. Though, It may be kind of far from the college I'm in right now. I don't know. Family things are just wierd. I think we'd all function better if we weren't seeing each other every day. So, anyone interested in getting an apartment in Newark?
Have you tried the Reeses Cookies? Go get some. But have at least a little self control or you're likely to eat the whole box in a sitting.
