coming to a close
Well, I think I can confidently say that this has been a very interesting year that I will be OH SO glad to be done with.
Life definitely hasn't turned out the way it was supposed to, doesn't it always? you say. (crap, I was gonna get wine. reminded by Billy Joel song on the radio.)
And work has for sure been interesting. All I'm going to tell you is that I am working in the kitchen Saturday night. And unless I here so from the establishment, you will hear nothing more on the matter because it's that bad.
Research also has been interesting. It's taking WAY more time than I thought it would and I STILL haven't finished writing my paper for my honors thesis for my undergraduate degree that I received last June. hmm. Interesting. At least I'm still here, right?
Also have decided to start working towards a career as a university librarian. Not sure why, but it just seems like it would really fit. This means I may have to live with family for awhile, but that's ok. My bro is cool and I like his g/f. She'll let me live there, if he won't.
Anyway, I will still be really glad when this year is over. This year has just really really sucked and I am really really looking forward to starting over.
