Tutorial: John Sheppard ("Aurora")

Well, here goes nothin’. This is my very first tutorial, and I wasn’t sure I ever wanted to even try one, because they seem like they take ages, and can be really stressful, but I thought I’d give it a try after I was playing with some simple settings and ideas, and it made a nice icon. So I’m sharing the idea, for others to try and whatever ^_^

Erm, I've just got myself Photocop CS2 Ver 9 and I can't find the enhance function, is there any chance you can do a screenshot. Or, is it likely that my version is disimilar?

I use Paint Shop Pro. I used to have Photoshop, but that was over a year ago, and only a trial version. I'm afraid I'm not sure what the PS equivalent is :(

On PSP, it's in the top task bar. It's a single button, simply called Enhance - you click on it, and the options drop down on your screen ^_^

Well, it made no sense to me ;) But that's only because I don't have or know anything about Photoshop. As far as I can tell, it's a very well-presented tutorial. The steps are clear and simply laid out, and I'm quite sure that if I had Photoshop I would have no trouble following it.

A very clear and concise tutorial, Clez. The style it produces is awesome too. I had a go with one of my Alias screencaps:
