Hi everyone!
Long post ahead, so hopefully the bolded sections should help.*g*
General posting information
We are now accepting submissions if you'd like your work to be uploaded to the website (details below).
Entries should be submitted via e-mail to
fromward or
shattered. We'll be accepting entries for the website through Feb. 12, and will be uploaded to the archive in time for the website unveiling on Feb. 13.
If you want your submission archived, but haven't turned it in by Feb. 12, it can still be uploaded to the site, it just won't be up in time for the unveiling of the website.
Otherwise, post your entry in your LJ on Feb. 14. And we'll leave a post in the community on that day, where you can post a link to your piece.
elsmoka has also graciously offered to make thumbnail icons for archive linking, which you will be able to pick up from the community, so be on the lookout for that.
Details for archived works are below…

The sooner submissions are turned in, the easier that makes it for everyone involved in the archiving:
lil_lj,
lydkami,
mlleelizabeth,
shattered, and
fromward.
Stories should be in .txt format. If you're typing in MS Word, save the file as "text only." Coding for things such as italics, boldface, etc. follow the same as livejournal. For example, italics would be .

Also, we're asking everyone to submit an Afterword about how you created your submission, why you selected the film, how the film influenced you, etc. We all (presumably:-)) enjoy movies, so this is a nice way of sharing that enjoyment with everyone else.
Please submit this is as .txt file, labeled "author_afterword," such as "fromward_afterword," for example.
